ArmInfo. The majority of Gyumri residents intend to participate in the upcoming March 30 elections to the City Council of Elders. This is evidenced by the results of the survey "A Piece of Choice" by the consulting company MPG.
When asked whether they intend to take part in the electoral processes in Gyumri, 34.2% said - definitely yes, another 47.5% - rather yes, 3.6% - rather no, 11.6% - definitely no, 3.1% answered that they have not decided yet.
21.8% said they would vote for the ruling Civil Contract party (Sarik Minasyan), 18.3% - for the Communist Party of Armenia (Vardan Ghukasyan), 8.9% - for the Our City bloc of parties (Martun Grigoryan), 6.4% - for the Mother Armenia bloc of parties (Karen Simonyan), 5.8% - for the My Mighty Community party (Ruben Mkhitaryan), 4.6% - for the European Alliance bloc of parties (Levon Barseghyan), 2.3% - for the Labor Socialist Party of Armenia (Artem Tumanyan), 2.1% - for the Country for Life party (Karen Malkhasyan), 0.8% - for the Democratic Alternative party (Artem Karagazaryan). 6.9% said they would not vote for anyone, 10.6% found it difficult to say, 11.6% refused to answer.
When asked whether the elections to the Gyumri Council of Elders would be fair and without violations, 27.9% said definitely yes, 34.8% - rather yes, 15.2% - rather no, 15.2% - definitely no, 6.9% - found it difficult to answer.
The survey was conducted through telephone calls to Gyumri residents from March 25 to 26 of this year, the sample size was 612, the sampling error was +/- 3.8%.
