RA MoD head: We resolve issues with Azerbaijan through diplomatic channels

ArmInfo. Shots are being fired from the Azerbaijani side, but they are often not targeting the positions of the Armenian armed forces, as stated by RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan during the government hour in the National Assembly on March 26, while responding to a question from NA MP Hasmik Hakobyan.  The MP, in particular, asked if the publications and videos on social networks about the shelling of Armenian territory correspond to reality.

In response, Papikyan  noted that he is familiar with all the materials  related to the situation on the borders.  He noted that shots are  often fired in directions other than towards Armenia, which is why the Ministry of Defense does not issue  statements on such incidents. "The Defense Ministry is closely monitoring the situation. There are diplomatic channels of communication to resolve the existing issues, and the problem should be resolved in this vein," Papikyan said.
