Aram Manukyan`s film won the prestigious Parole Aperte award in the Vatican

ArmInfo. Aram Manukyan's short film "Sigma" has been honored with the prestigious Parole Aperte award in the Vatican. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the award was presented to the director following the screening of the film in the Sistine Hall of the Vatican Apostolic Library.

The screening of  "Sigma" is a historic event for Armenian cinema, as the film was recognized with the prestigious Vatican award for its contributions to culture, making Aram Manukyan  the first Armenian director to receive such an award. The film's co-producer is Marcello Zeppi, the President and Artistic Director of the Montecatini International Film Festival (MISFF), which also received the award.

According to the source, the film's main producer is Karen Tsaturyan, the director of photography is Romen Tsaturyan, the composer is Hayk Nersesyan, the producer is David Jinanyan, and the screenwriter is Ashot Danielyan. It should be noted that the film had its world premiere  in the fall of 2024 as part of MISFF.
