ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia is carrying out a political order. This statement was made on March 26 in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia by Agnessa Khamoyan, an MP from the opposition faction "Armenia", while commenting on the petition from the supervisory body to prosecute MP Hovik Agazaryan.
During her address to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vartapetyan, Khamoyan noted that anyone with common sense in the parliamentary session hall understands perfectly well what is really happening. However, according to her, only opposition members are talking about this, while those in the current government stubbornly remain silent.
In response, Anna Vardapetyan refused to answer the deputy's questions, stating their politicized nature. She emphasized that she has no right to provide any political assessments. Khamoyan noted in this regard that the head of the supervisory body is not supposed to make any political statements, yet within the walls of the National Assembly, they seem to be carrying out a political order.
