Court acquits singer Hayko`s son 

ArmInfo. A year later, a court in Yerevan acquitted the son of singer Spitaktsi Hayko - Hrachya Ghevondyan, as reported on social networks by lawyers Erik Aleksanyan  and Alexander Kochubaev.

the law enforcement agencies of Armenia accuse Gevondyan of  attempting to seize power. On May 22, 2024, the Investigative  Committee of Armenia issued a statement that on May 21, the police  received a report about preparations for the seizure of power. Based  on the report, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article  43-419. "During the preliminary investigation, factual data was  obtained that G.G., being in close relations with a representative of  the opposition political bloc and having anti-government views,  disagreeing with the foreign and domestic policies pursued by the  leadership of the Republic of Armenia, and having ideological  hostility towards it, realizing that in accordance with the  Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, power in the Republic of  Armenia belongs to the people, together with persons not identified  by the investigation, set the goal of seizing power: with a group of  persons to seize the buildings of the government, the National  Assembly and the police of the Republic of Armenia, as well as with  the aim of seizing the National Assembly and the government by using  violence, deliberately created conditions for the implementation of  this goal, including considering the issue of its implementation at a  rally scheduled for May 26, 2024," the Investigative Committee said  in a statement. 

A motion was filed to detain him, the court rejected it, and Hrachya  Ghevondyan was released from the courtroom.
