As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, the country's seismic services recorded tremors on March 24 at 15:37 local time. It is noted that an earthquake with magnitude 2.6 occurred in Armenia. The epicenter was located 8 km to the north of Spitak city, with geographic coordinates of 40.90 + north latitude and 44.28 + east longitude. The hypocenter was located at the depth of 10 km. The intensity of the tremor in the epicenter was 3-4 MSK. The earthquake was felt in Spitak city, Shenavan, Arevashokh and Karadzor villages in the Lori region with intensity of 3 MSK.
