"With these actions, we not only insulted the visiting team's fans  but also deprived our team of the opportunity to celebrate the  victory together with its loyal fans. This kind of behavior is  detrimental to football and casts a shadow on the international  reputation of our country. The incident may lead to sanctions from  UEFA, which would negatively impact our team and Georgian football  fans. Thanks to the visiting team and their fans for creating a  friendly atmosphere in Tbilisi and Yerevan. Special thanks to the  President of the Football Federation of Armenia and our partners for  the high-level hospitality. The strong ties between our two countries  in sports are also confirmed by the joint bid of Georgia and Armenia  to host one of the most prestigious world championships. I look  forward to the possibility of Georgia and Armenia co-hosting the FIFA  U-20 World Cup in 2029. Football has the power to bring us together,"  Levan Kobiashvili noted.
