ArmInfo. A Radisson hotel complex will be constructed on a plot of land in Tsaghkadzor that was illegally privatized many years ago and later acquired by an individual affiliated with former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. This information was reported by Hetq.
The complex will be managed by the internationally accredited brand Radisson Hotel Group. The construction of the hotel on a 15-hectare plot of land was started by KGM LLC. The publication has examined the documents concerning the hotel construction project and found out that the land earmarked for construction is a forest plot that was illegally privatized several years ago. Moreover, it was revealed that the ex- security chief of former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan was among the individuals who acquired the land and then transferred it to a shareholder of a company linked to the Abrahamyan family.
The ownership of the plot by KGM LLC was registered in 2023 based on an installment agreement signed on August 14. Tangine Ter-Poghosyan, the sole shareholder of the LLC founded in 2023, received the company's shares from Mikhail Konstantinovich Manukyan. Hetq reached out to KGM LLC director Rudolf Grigoryan to inquire about any concerns regarding the possible return of the territory to the state. Grigoryan stated that they do not perceive any connection with Hovik Abrahamyan and do not have such concerns. Rudolf Grigoryan declined to respond to further inquiries.
