ArmInfo. On the margins of "Raisina Dialogue 2025" conference, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan participated as a speaker in the panel discussion "The Iran Factor: Crisis, Convergence, Competition".
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the participants addressed the challenges emerging from the rapid transformations in the Middle East, including official Tehran's involvement and position in the region, and exchanged views on the role of Iran and other international actors in this context.
The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that developments in the Middle East impact not only the region but beyond, and underscored that Armenia is a part of the Greater Middle East. Kostanyan also stressed the presence of Armenian heritage and traditional Armenian communities across these countries. During the panel discussion, the finalization of the draft of the "Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan" was also presented.
