ArmInfo. A gala concert Une vie d amour (<A life full of love>), will be held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, to honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of Charles Aznavour, a world legend of chanson and musical art, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to UNESCO.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MONKS), the concert will feature famous and beloved songs of Charles Aznavour, which have made a lasting impact on world music. The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia led by artistic director and principal conductor Eduard Topchyan, will present the rich and unique musical heritage of the Chansonnier. The soloists for the event include Inga Arshakyan, Gor Sujyan, Gurgen Baveyan, and Jules Grison.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia in collaboration with the Permanent Delegation of Armenia to UNESCO and the Armenian National Commission for UNESCO, is part of the anniversary events approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Recall that the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour is included in UNESCO's calendar of anniversary events in 2024-2025.
