Armenian MPs brief Finnish ambassador to Armenia on problems of  forcibly displaced people 

ArmInfo. The programs implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia are based on Finnish experience. This was stated by members of the  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Parsilyan and  Arpine Vardanyan during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and  Plenipotentiary of Finland to the Republic of Armenia Kirsti Narinen  yesterday.

As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia, during the meeting Tigran Parsilyan emphasized  the importance of developing Armenia-Finland relations. In this  context, he pointed out the need to expand inter-parliamentary  cooperation.

Ambassador Kirsti Narinen also emphasized the importance of  developing inter-parliamentary ties.  Regional developments were  discussed at the meeting. "We must do everything to establish  long-term peace in the region," Tigran Parsilyan said.

Arpine Vardanyan, in turn, spoke about the social problems of 120  thousand compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
