RA NA Speaker, Czech parliamentarians discuss peace treaty with Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. On March 17, RA National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan received a delegation led by the Chairman of the EU Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Ondrej Benesik.

As reported by the RA NA press service, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of the dynamic development of Armenian-Czech relations and noted that such mutual visits are crucial for giving new impetus to inter-parliamentary ties.  In addition to discussing Armenian-Czech relations, they also focused on issues related to the Armenia-EU agenda, the peace treaty  agreed upon between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional developments, and the return of Armenians held in Baku.
