Official Astana expresses support for the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to normalize relations

ArmInfo. Kazakhstan welcomes the announcements made by the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the completion of negotiations on the text of the draft Agreement on Peace and  Establishment of Interstate Relations, as noted in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.

"We express confidence that the agreements reached and the signing of this historic document will be an important step towards normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as ensuring stability, security and prosperity for the entire South Caucasus region," the statement of the country's Foreign Ministry further reads.  The Ministry reiterated Kazakhstan's strong support for ongoing efforts to maintain a constructive dialogue between the two countries in order to achieve lasting peace.
