The Georgian Foreign Ministry has welcomed the agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on all seventeen points of the peace treaty. "A historic step towards lasting peace and stability in the region," the Ministry said in a statement on Twitter (X).
In turn, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys welcomed the successful completion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the text of the peace treaty and expressed hope that the peace treaty would be signed soon. "Lithuania welcomes the news of the finalization of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Hope to see the swift signing of the peace agreement," the Minister wrote on Twitter.
The agreements were also welcomed by the Brazilian Foreign Ministry. "The Brazilian government welcomes the announcement by the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan to conclude negotiations on an agreement that will restore peace between the countries and normalize bilateral relations. Brazil calls on the parties to continue prioritizing diplomacy and dialogue as the path to a lasting and sustainable peace . We hope this process will be completed as soon as possible," the Brazilian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon has also expressed her position. "Warmly welcome the announcements by both Armenia and Azerbaijan on the conclusion of the negotiations on peace. We hope for the signature to follow soon, marking the start of a new era of peace and stability in the South Caucasus," Tanja Fajon wrote on Twitter.
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze also congratulated Armenia and Azerbaijan on reaching an agreement on the text of the peace agreement. "Congratulations to our good friends Azerbaijan and Armenia on reaching an agreement on the text of the peace agreement, an important step towards long- term peace and stability in the region," Baiba Braze wrote on Twitter.
