Ankara states there are no prerequisites for Turkey and Armenia to mutually open diplomatic missions

ArmInfo. Akif Cagatay Kilic, the  Turkish President's Chief Adviser on Foreign Policy and Security  Issues, believes that <in the current situation there are no  prerequisites> for mutual opening of diplomatic missions by Turkey  and Armenia.

< Currently, there is no situation that would make discussions on  this matter necessary. Also, I have no information regarding this.  Again, I would like to emphasize that our position on the process is  well known:  The peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will  be the key to resolving many issues,> he said in an interview with  the Azerbaijani APA agency.

When asked about the stage of the normalization process between  Turkey and Armenia, he replied that Ankara's position regarding the  normalization process between Turkey and Armenia is already known.   <Azerbaijan's security and territorial integrity is our main  priority. Based on this stance, we closely monitor the process  between Azerbaijan and Armenia following the Second Karabakh War, and  we take steps accordingly. Of course, there are ongoing discussions  with Armenia. There are also international organizations where both  Azerbaijan and Turkey are represented with Armenia. We are working to  find the best solution and live in peace moving forward together,> he  said.
