ArmInfo. Official Yerevan confirmed the completion of negotiations with Baku on the draft peace treaty.
In the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, it is said that the Armenian Foreign Ministry through diplomatic channels has conveyed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan that Armenia accepts Azerbaijan's proposals on the two unresolved articles of the draft "Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan".
It is noted that Yerevan also has proposed issuing a joint statement announcing that the text of the Peace Agreement has been agreed upon and that the negotiations on the draft agreement have been finalized. "Official Baku preferred to make a unilateral statement. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia confirms the fact that the draft "Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan" has been agreed upon and the negotiations have been concluded accordingly. Thus, the Peace Agreement is ready for signing. The Republic of Armenia is prepared to initiate consultations with the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the time and venue for the signing the Agreement," the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry says.
Earlier, the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said that the Armenian side has accepted all of Baku's proposals, including those regarding the dismissal of the OSCE Minsk Group and amendments to the country's Constitution.
