Kapan international musical festival to take place July 4 to 14

ArmInfo. This year, the Kapan International Music Festival will be held from July 4 to 14. This was reported by the press service of the festival organizers.

According to tradition, the festival will implement an academic  education program, in which musicians aged 14 to 22 can take part.

Those interested must fill out the relevant applications on the  official website of the festival by April 15 at the link:

The names of the selected  students will be announced by the festival organizers in May.  According to the source, the program participants will receive a  scholarship that will allow them to participate in master classes,  perform solo and chamber music, and make professional recordings. The  scholarship will also cover the costs of transportation and  accommodation in Kapan.

The festival will bring together famous musicians and young talents  from Armenia and around the world.  The program of the event has not  yet been published.

The festival was founded in 2023 on the initiative of Sevak  Avanesyan, a cellist from Kapan with Belgian roots, and is held with  the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports  of Armenia and the Kapan Municipality.
