Armenia`s new Constitution to be of regional importance, Baku has  nothing in common with it - premier 

ArmInfo.The Armenian authorities are going to propose a draft of a new constitution, which is not being made at the request of Azerbaijan, but will have regional  significance.  This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during the discussions of the draft ideology of real Armenia.

According to Pashinyan, the adoption of the new Constitution has been  on the agenda of the authorities since February 2020. Moreover, the  agenda of the new Constitution was the revolution of 2018. At that  time, the Prime Minister considered this impossible, since the  Constitution, which is still in force today, came into force on April  9, 2018.

In general, according to him, the ideology of real Armenia is a  project about the future, which is being implemented in the present  conditions. According to the Prime Minister, the future has already  arrived today and there is no time to put anything off for later.  "The ideology of real Armenia is based on conclusions drawn from  history, today's needs and a vision of the future," he added.

Pashinyan once again emphasized that Armenia is a state with an  internationally recognized territory of 29,743 square kilometers. In  this context, he noted that he is accused of recognizing the  territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. In fact, the Prime Minister  pointed out, he recognized the territorial integrity of Armenia,  which had not been done before.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the citizens of  Armenia, noting that the Constitution of Armenia needs to be changed,  since all previous referendums on its adoption . The Prime Minister outlined his idea as .

Opponents accused Pashinyan of fulfilling Baku's demands, namely, of  intending to exclude from the Constitution a reference to the  Declaration of Independence, which contains a clause on Nagorno-  Karabakh. Azerbaijan has repeatedly demanded that this provision be  revised.
