Lawyer predicts harder spring season of political reprisals 

ArmInfo. The season of spring political repressions has begun in Armenia.

According to a post left on his Facebook page by lawyer Ruben  Melikyan, this season will be even harsher and more brazen.

The lawyer sees the reasons for such a categorical statement in the  key actors who, being loyal to the regime of RA Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan, have been tested and tried over the years. "The leader of  the regime no longer hides his plan to turn Armenia into a Turkish  backwater, and under these conditions any spark can grow into a fire  - after all, there are many people in our country who have preserved  their dignity and self-respect. "The West", for better or worse,  played the role of a kind of straitjacket. In fact, it is very bad  and very weak. But still, sometimes it asked some questions to the  representatives of the regime. Now the authorities are dizzy. Even  this ineffective straitjacket has disappeared," the lawyer  emphasized.

Melikyan noted that Nikol Pashinyan's regime is preparing for  elections, on the eve of which he will try to weaken influential  opposition forces one after another, and will keep his own "on a  short leash", showing examples of punishment for those who "abandoned  the ship."
