Armenian respondents prefer closer ties with Russia over European integration

ArmInfo. Armenian respondents prefer closer ties with Russia over European integration, as evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the consulting company MPG: " But you, my friends, whatever seats you take ".  When asked which geopolitical center they associate with the socio-economic development of Armenia, 27.8% of respondents named Russia, 25.8% - the European Union, 15.5% - the USA, 13.3% - Iran, 11% - no one, and another 3.4% named the EAEU. 13.55 - found it difficult to answer, while 4.1% gave a different answer.

During the presentation of their survey results, Aram Navasardyan, the head of the representative office mentioned that approximately 32% of respondents are inclined towards the EAEU and Russia. He noted that the survey indicated a shift of Armenian citizens back towards the Russian sphere. "If there were trends towards the European Union and European integration last year, now there is a noticeable shift of citizens towards Russia," he clarified.
