ArmInfo. Aram Roberti Gasparyan, an officer of the National Security Service of Armenia, has been arrested on suspicion of organizing the events that took place in Syunik in April 2021, Para TV reports.
As the media recalled, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently brought up this incident during a question and answer session in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Following this, Gasparyan was one of the individuals who were arrested. It should be noted that in 2021, an active shootout between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops took place on Mount Tsitsernakar in Syunik. However, it is not clear what specific accusation Aram Gasparyan is facing.
