ArmInfo. The main goal of the Armenia faction continues to be the ousting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and each political force is free to pursue this goal through their own actions and efforts, as stated by the Armenia faction deputy, Aghvan Vardanyan, during a briefing in the Armenian parliament.
In this regard, Vardanyan pointed out that the Armenian Prime Minister is willing to make any concessions to Turkey and Azerbaijan in order to secure the signing of a false "peace treaty." According to him, Pashinyan needs this treaty to boost his chances for re-election. The deputy believes that at the moment Pashinyan currently lacks the support he initially had. In this regard, the oppositionist explained that their goal is to create a team of one hundred or more professionals with a national mindset, capable of identifying issues and finding solutions.
Addressing the accusations of a smear campaign against the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, the MP emphasized that he had not observed anything like that from 2008 to 2018. He assured that this was also confirmed by the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who denied any involvement in the campaign. "Today, a situation has developed in the country where all forces must be directed against the current government, and each political force must act as it sees fit," the MP concluded.
