Armenia Defense Ministry calls reports about Armenian authorities`  intention to send peacekeepers to Ukraine a fabrication

ArmInfo.The Defense Ministry refuted the claims circulating on Armenian social networks regarding  the Armenian authorities' planning to send peacekeepers to Ukraine at the request of their European partners as false. ArmInfo  was informed of this by the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry. Aram Torosyan.

Earlier, information was disseminated in the Armenian segment of  social networks that the Armenian Defense Ministry, in response to a  request from the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja  Kallas, had expressed readiness to send up to 100 servicemen from the  12th peacekeeping brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces to Ukraine if  necessary "to ensure peace and order in the territory of Ukraine."  and upon a corresponding decision by the EU and Ukrainian  authorities. In this regard, the Armenian Defense Ministry told  ArmInfo, in particular: "We deny the existence of such  correspondence. The Armenian Defense Ministry has not receive any  letter of appeal. And naturally, the claim about the response of the  Armenian defense department is also false."
