Armen Rustamyan: ARF party will advocate for  the collective return  of Artsakh Armenians to their homeland

ArmInfo.The ARF party will promote the issue of the collective return of Artsakh Armenians to  their homeland, as stated by  Armen Rustamyan,  the party representative and a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition faction "Armenia, " to journalists on  February 26.  

According to him, there are all grounds for the return of Armenians to Nagorno-Karabakh, as evidenced by decisions made by international courts. Rustamyan is confident that these decisions  provide the necessary basis for this.  However,  the politician  continued, given the current situation in Artsakh, it is difficult to  imagine such a development of events.

Rustamyan emphasized that the issue should be addressed exclusively  through diplomatic means. It is important to consider  official  diplomacy, parliamentary diplomacy and public diplomacy. Official  diplomacy, as Rustamyan noted, serves the interests of Turkey and  Azerbaijan. In terms of parliamentary diplomacy, the opposition is  making certain efforts, but they are not enough. The ARF party is  working on resolving the issue through public diplomacy.
