ArmInfo.From March 14 to 18, Yerevan and Artashat will host <Manouchian Week> in honor of Missak Manouchian, the leader of the French resistance against the Nazis during World War II, and his comrades.
The series of events includes theatrical performances, conferences, exhibitions, screenings of documentary films and discussions. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan Municipality, the EU Delegation to Armenia, the French region of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes and the Lyon Municipality, the French Theatre Union Sate-Atre, the NGO <Art-Image>, the Embassy of France in Armenia, the French Institute, etc.
The partners include the State Museum of Literature and Art named after E. Charents, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, the Museum-Institute of Ancient Manuscripts <Matenadaran>, the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia, the Artashat State Drama Theatre named after Amo Kharazyan, the Pantheon of France, the Roger-Violet Gallery, the French University in Armenia, and the <Alef> Publishing House.
