Russian Ambassador to Armenia Involved in Road Accident: Caused by Heavy Snowfall and Icy Roads

ArmInfo.Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin got into a traffic accident. The reason is heavy snowfall and icy conditions in Yerevan. Famous reportage photographer Gagik Shamshyan reported this on his page.

He noted that the ambassador's health is not in danger, but for the sake of prevention, Kopyrkin and his driver were sent to the hospital for examination.

The accident with the diplomatic service car occurred in the capital's Sari Tagh district on 20th street. Patrol cars and employees of the Main Police Department of the Erebuni community arrived at the scene.

It should be noted that today in Yerevan there was heavy snowfall and the air temperature dropped sharply. However, no cleaning work was carried out in the city until late in the evening. Insurance companies are sounding the alarm; even without snow, they are incurring large losses due to the high level of accidents on the roads.
