ArmInfo. The question should not be whether to change the Constitution or not, but to change the current government. The leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, told journalists on January 20 at the Pantheon of Military Burials in Yerablur, commenting on the statement of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan about the need to adopt a new Constitution, since all previous constitutional reforms lacked legitimacy. According to the archbishop, the Constitution can always be changed, but today we must talk about changing the current government. "This is an ontological struggle, not a battle for the constitution or laws. He himself failed, and now he is trying to adapt everything to his failure.
Remember his words that we will not fight for some mountain. He surrendered not only Artsakh, but also part of the territory of Armenia. Artsakh has never been valuable to them. Yes, he is guilty of lies, falsifications, ignoring the requirements of the Constitution, part of which was the existence of Artsakh, which was lost as a result of the actions of the current rulers," he added, recalling the heroic resistance shown by the people of Artsakh on September 19-20, 2020. Galstanyan added that all the actions of the current authorities of the country are taking place under external pressure.
Today, February 20, marks the 37th anniversary of the Artsakh movement. On this occasion, the leaders of Artsakh, as well as opposition deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, visited the memorial complex of military graves in Yerablur.
