RA authorities want to replace the Declaration of Independence with a  document written by the ruling team - human rights activist

ArmInfo. The main message of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's address is already clear:  he intends to replace the Declaration of Independence with a document written by his team. Human rights activist Arsen Babayan shared this on his Facebook page.

"This is the dissolution of the existing state,  the Third Republic of Armenia, and the creation of a new state based  on the ideas of the Civil Contract party," Babayan wrote, commenting  on Pashinyan's address to the nation, where he presented the draft  ideology of "Real Armenia". 

It should be noted that in his address, the Prime Minister emphasized  the need for a new Constitution, as he believed all previous  documents lacked legitimacy. The adoption of a new Basic Law of the  country implies the rejection of the Declaration of Independence.
