Armenia`s Hydrometeorological Center warns of powerful cold currents  approaching

ArmInfo. Don't be deceived by the increase in air temperature in Yerevan today  to +12 degrees. Levon Azizyan, Director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Armenia,  posted on his Facebook page.

In particular, he warned that starting in the evening of February 19  and over the next 3 days, residents of Armenia will experience the  effects of the clash between powerful cold air currents invading from  the northwest and warm air currents from the southwest.  According to  the Hydrometeorological Center, snow will fall in the republic from  February 19 to 23. From February 20 to 21, very heavy snowfall is  expected in some areas, including Yerevan. In some mountainous areas  visibility will be low, and roads may become icy. The air temperature  from February 20-22 (both day and night) will gradually drop by 10-14  degrees.
