Tigran Avinyan "honored"  old-timers of Yerevan

ArmInfo. According to the decision of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, all elderly residents  of Yerevan who have reached the age of 100 will receive financial support amounting to 1,000,000 drams.

As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the capital's  municipality, this support is provided as a token of appreciation for  their lifelong work, dedication and valuable contribution to society.   Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has already presented the first  <awards>.  He visited 100-year-old grandmother Nunik, a former  teacher, and 102-year-old grandmother Susanbar, a retired nurse.  However, the exact number of 100-year-old residents  in Yerevan and  the total budget allocated for this PR campaign by the mayor's office  were not disclosed.
