ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with European Council President Antonio Costa on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. The interlocutors discussed several issues on Armenia-EU partnership.
As reported by the press service of the RA Prime Minister, Pashinyan highlighted the EU's continued support for the consistent promotion of democratic reforms in Armenia. He emphasized that the full implementation of the reform agenda is one of the priorities of the RA government. Additionally, the Prime Minister noted that Armenia attaches importance to expanding and developing multilateral ties with the EU aimed at to developing capabilities in various fields.
Antonio Costa welcomed the actions taken by the Armenian government to strengthen democracy and implement institutional reforms. The President of the European Council expressed the EU's commitment to strengthening the partnership based on common values and deepening cooperation in all areas. The interlocutors discussed the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the possibilities of unblocking regional communication routes, and issues related to the "Crossroads of Peace" project initiated by the RA government.
Antonio Costa highlighted and welcomed the steps and initiatives of the Armenian government aimed at peace.
