ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took part in a breakfast roundtable on "Minilateralism and the Transition from Global Alliances to Targeted Partnerships", jointly organized by the Institute for Applied Policy Research of Armenia (APRI Armenia) and the Observer Research Foundation within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
According to the press service of the head of the RA Cabinet of Ministers, the event discussed changes in the security environment in the modern world, the effectiveness of large formal alliances and the role of cooperation in small formats. The discussion continued in a closed format.
In his speech, Pashinyan presented Armenia's consistent policy aimed at strengthening a balanced foreign policy. The Prime Minister emphasized that building flexible, but predictable and reliable partnerships is of particular importance for ensuring Armenia's security and sustainable development.
He noted that Armenia's foreign policy is aimed at strengthening the country's security and economic development through constructive cooperation with international partners. The Prime Minister also touched upon the main priorities of the Government of the Republic of Armenia: steps aimed at establishing regional peace and the Crossroads of Peace project.
