NA MP urges former leaders of Artsakh Defense Army to provide  clarification on September 2023 events

ArmInfo.Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the  opposition faction "I Have Honor", has appealed to the former leaders of the Artsakh Defense Army to respond and provide clarification on the events of September 2023.

 During a briefing on February 12, the MP noted that it is one thing  when people who have nothing to do with Artsakh talk about the  September events in Nagorno-Karabakh, and quite another when those  who were actively involved in the military operations remain silent  about these events. He expressed surprise at the silence of the  former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Kamo Vardanyan, noting  that his lack of response is worrisome. "If there were  miscalculations in the Defense Army that led to irreparable  consequences, then how current military leaders hold important  positions within the structures of the RA Ministry of Defense? Also,  the silence of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces,   particularly  the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, who has a combat  background in the Artsakh Defense Army, and now shows complete  disregard for the accusations against the Defense Army, is  concerning," Abrahamyan said.  He added that he will not allow anyone  to forget the military achievements of the Artsakh Defense Army and  the memory of fallen soldiers.
