ArmInfo.On February 13, the Armenian Cabinet approved proposals to sign a Memorandum on mutual recognition and exchange of driver's licenses issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, both countries recognize the driver's licenses of citizens arriving for temporary stay. Those who move for permanent residence will be given the opportunity to obtain a local license without passing theoretical and practical exams.
From February 1, 2024, citizens of Armenia can enter Dubai and other emirates of the UAE without a visa. Citizens of the Republic of Armenia will be allowed to stay in the United Arab Emirates for no more than 90 days during each 180-day period.
