ArmInfo. The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has solved a case of organizing illegal migration from the Republic of Armenia to European countries.
In particular, as reported by the press service of the department, it was established that the owner and director of one of the travel agencies operating in Yerevan, A.D. and his employee E.Kh. organized the illegal migration of a resident of the Tavush region, S.T. They did this by forging documents, for which they received 3,300 euros.
A.D. and E.Kh. were detained and taken to the preliminary investigation body.
Based on the incident, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Republic of Armenia initiated a criminal case under Article 470, Part 3, Clause 1 and Article 457, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of which one of the organizers of illegal migration, E.Kh., was arrested, and A.D. a preventive measure in the form of house arrest was chosen.
In addition, as a result of searches conducted in the apartments and workplaces of persons detained in criminal cases, copies of birth certificates, passports, bank transfer statements, computers, electronic storage media, seals, a notebook with records of receipt of funds from various persons, etc. were discovered and seized.
