This was announced during the meeting of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, and the Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, John Gallagher.
In this context, Zhanna Andreasyan also highlighted the significance of studying the British experience and pointed out the potential for institutional cooperation. She recalled the joint work with Britain on developing a strategy for the preservation and development of Armenian culture for 2023-2027. Ambassador John Gallagher, in turn, underscored the successful cooperation and positive progress with the Armenian government, specifically with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MOESCS).
The Minister emphasized the significance of the British Council's involvement in enhancing English teaching methods in Armenia and supporting teacher training. She expressed gratitude for the collaboration in the Academic City program, highlighting partnerships with the University of the Arts London and the Institute of Education at University College London.
