Catholicos Aram I calls on US President to take action to release   Armenian prisoners illegally held in Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.Catholicos Aram I has appealed to US President Donald Trump to take action to release  Armenian prisoners illegally held in Azerbaijani prisons.  In his message, Aram I referenced Trump's previous statements condemning Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of the Armenian population in Artsakh. 

The Catholicos drew attention to the illegality of the trials taking  place in Azerbaijan without international observers present, and  emphasized the importance of releasing the military-political  leadership of Artsakh and other prisoners.
