Alen Simonyan presents  "Crossroads of Peace" project to Chairman of  Belgian Senate

On February 7, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on a working visit to Belgium, met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Kingdom of Belgium, Valerie De Bue.  As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting involved discussions on various issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation. The parties also addressed  the  topics of multilateral agenda for enhancing Armenia-EU relations and  democratic reforms in Armenia.

Alen Simonyan presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project initiated  by the Armenian government to the Chairman of the Belgian Senate. He  emphasized the new opportunities that the project's implementation  will bring to the countries in the region.  Additionally, the  interlocutors discussed the issue of Armenian prisoners of war being  held in Azerbaijan, as well as other regional matters.
