Trump appoints Michael Kavoukjian as US Ambassador to Norway

ArmInfo. American-Armenian Michael Kavoukjian will serve as the next US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway. This was announced by US President Donald Trump on his page in Truth.

"I am pleased to announce that Michael E. Kavoukjian will serve as  the next US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway. Michael is a  brilliant attorney, who currently serves as a Senior Partner at White  & Case, where he has led complex commercial litigation teams around  the world. He previously served our Country as a CIA Operations  Officer. Michael is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law  School. Congratulations, Michael!" the US President wrote.

Note that Michael Kavoukjian was one of the founders of the Aurora  Humanitarian Initiative, as well as a lifetime member of the Council  on Foreign Relations, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hoover  Institution, and a director of the Jamestown Foundation. According to  Robb Report, he is recognized as one of the top 100 attorneys in the  United States.
