ArmInfo.By the decision of the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan on February 6, four Russian citizens and one Lithuanian citizen, accused of hooliganism, were placed under arrest for a period of two months.
According to Armenian media, the court granted the motion of the investigative body to arrest the suspects.
As ArmInfo previously reported with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, on February 3, a citizen of Lithuania, 36-year-old Lukas Revinskas, as well as four Russian citizens: 20-year-old Georgy Radgin and Saveliy Biryukov, 27-year-old Nikita Volchenkov and 19-year-old Stepan Say, suspected of hooliganism, were detained while attempting to cross the Bagratashen border checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
As the vice-mayor of Yerevan previously reported, the hooliganism was committed on February 1. In particular, one of the passengers pressed the emergency stop button of the metro train, which was traveling from the station "David Sasunsky" to the station "Zoravar Andranik". While the driver was informing the dispatcher about the incident, the same group of masked people painted the carriages with paint on the outside. As a result, a criminal case was opened on the fact of hooliganism.
