Zakharova responds to Pashinyan`s words on the Armenian Genocide: I  never expected  this issue to be addressed differently

Never in my life did I expect that this issue (the Armenian Genocide) would be treated  differently than the historically established, unanimous position held by both the Armenian state, the people of Armenia, and the Armenians as an ethnic group. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at a weekly briefing on February 6.

<I never thought that this long-standing formulated and formed  consolidated position,  would be subject to any changes within the  Armenian community. But you see what statements we have been hearing  lately.  Yes, I am now talking about the statements in Davos. But,  again, this is not a question for us,> she said.  The diplomat  emphasized that the position of the Russian Federation has been  outlined in the corresponding statement of the State Duma and is not  subject to change.
