ArmInfo. The Secretary General of the Serbian Foreign Ministry, Dusan Kozarev, is currently on a visit to Yerevan. During his visit, he met with the Secretary General of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, David Karapetyan, as well as Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan.
As reported by the press service of the Serbian Foreign Ministry, the meeting involved discussions on bilateral issues of mutual interest, as well as an exchange of views on operating the two Ministries. An agreement was reached to enhance practical cooperation at the level of general secretariats. The report notes that the process of establishing peace in the region was a topic of discussion. In this regard, the Armenian initiative the "Crossroads of Peace" project was presented. The project aims to enhance additional infrastructural connectivity and improve general relations. As a negative example of the lack of dialogue, Kozarev mentioned the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, highlighting the aggressive unilateral actions of Kurti's regime.
The interlocutors agreed on the importance of mutual support for sovereignty and territorial integrity. Additionally, Kozarev mentioned that in 2027, Belgrade will host the specialized exhibition Expo 2027 and expressed hope that Armenia would accept the invitation to participate in this significant international event. The parties mutually emphasized the importance of European integration through bilateral support, cooperation, and the exchange of experience in this area. Following the meeting, the Secretaries General signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
