Armenia has the authority to withdraw from the ICC, but the  investigation of the claims will continue - Ocampo

ArmInfo. Yerevan cannot stop the investigation of crimes committed in Armenia or Nagorno-Karabakh over the past 3-4 years. This was stated by the former prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Luis Moreno Ocampo, in a video message on Twitter (X), reacting to the statement of the Armenian  prime minister about the potential withdrawal of claims against  Azerbaijan from international courts.

"Armenia has the authority withdraw claims from the International  Criminal Court. Still, the ICC prosecutor will keep the authority to  investigate crimes committed after May 11, 2021 until one year after  Armenia decide to withdraw from the Rome Statue," Ocampo said.
