Conference   held in Yerevan

ArmInfo. A conference titled <Direct Dialogue: Addressing Refugee Needs  in Armenia> was held in  Yerevan. The  panel discussions featured Jan Pleschinger, the Head of the EU Political, Press and Information Department in Armenia and Vice-Ambassador, along with the Heads of the Diplomatic Missions of  Sweden and the UK in Armenia, Patrick Svensson and John Gallagher.

The conference was organized by the Regional Center for Democracy and  Security in collaboration with the Eurasian Partnership Foundation.  The primary focus of the discussions was on the role of the  international community in refugee integration.  According to the  statement of the head of the Regional Center for Democracy and  Security Tigran Grigoryan, representatives of the relevant government  agencies were invited to the conference, but they were once again  absent.
