During a meeting with Francoise Jacob, the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Srbuhi Galyan, the Minister of Justice of Armenia, emphasized the significance of the Ministry of Justice's active involvement in the development of a new framework program for Armenia- UN cooperation in sustainable development for 2026-2030 (UNSDCF).
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, the meeting focused on sectoral issues related to the Ministry's strategies and priorities for 2025. They discussed implementing programs aimed to reform the judicial and legal sector and creating a joint agenda for the continuous development of anti-corruption bodies. The participants highlighted the ongoing support of the UN in reforming the juvenile justice system and emphasized cooperation in areas such as human rights protection, constitutional reforms, penal and probation potential development, and anti-corruption initiatives.
