Armenian Ambassador, Iranian official discuss bilateral relations

ArmInfo.Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Hakobyan met with Vice President of Iran Seyed Hamid  Pourmohammadi, the Head of the Programming and Budget Organization and co-chair of the RA-IRI Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Iran, the  parties emphasized the importance of the 18th meeting of the joint  intergovernmental commission held last year in Tehran. In this  regard, the need for further deepening bilateral cooperation within  the commission was noted.  Hakobyan and Pourmohammadi also discussed  several issues on the bilateral agenda, particularly those related to  transport, infrastructure and energy.  The meeting was preceded by a  private conversation between the Ambassador and the Secretary of the  Intergovernmental Joint Commission, Peyman Mirab.
