ArmInfo. The Head of the State Control Service of Armenia, Romanos Petrosyan, refused to comment on the incident related to the country's authorities' intention to arrest the author of a video showing citizens of a foreign state singing the song "Karabakh" in Azerbaijani on Yerevan's central square. During a conversation with journalists on February 3, Petrosyan noted that he was very busy with work and had not been able to watch the video.
When asked by representatives of the mass media how he feels about a song being sung a few steps from the Prime Minister's administration building and the attempted arrest of the video's author, Petrosyan noted that he did not come to the National Assembly to discuss this issue. "As the head of the State Investigative Committee, I am not authorized to comment on this case. I also prefer not to speak on this as a political figure. Please, ask me questions that fall within my competence," Petrosyan stated, adding that he is not commenting on this incident out of fear.
