ArmInfo. The Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Petr Piruncik expressed their readiness to expand cooperation at a meeting in Yerevan, promoting the development of Armenian-Czech bilateral relations.
As reported by the press service of the MIA, in this vein, the head of the MIA and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic discussed the possibilities of exchanging experience in various fields.
Sargsyan emphasized the importance of effective cooperation that has developed between Armenia and the Czech Republic both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union (EU). She noted the positive results achieved through partnership, adding that the EU is one of the key allies in the process of reforming the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In turn, the Ambassador highly appreciated the reforms carried out in the MIA, in particular, in the police sphere and within the framework of the formation of the ministry itself.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues related to the liberalization of the visa regime and the digitalization process. In conclusion, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the ambassador agreed to further expand cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations.
