Armenia`s NSS applies to Investigative Committee over `song incident`  in central Yerevan 

ArmInfo. As a result of complex operational and intelligence activities carried out by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, factual data  was obtained that the video clip, widely distributed on the Internet  and receiving wide public resonance, was published by the head of the  NGO "Independent Center for Strategic Studies" G.B. on his Facebook  page.  This is stated in the statement of the National Security  Service of the Republic of Armenia in addition to the statement of  January 31, 2025.

On January 30, a video appeared on the Internet showing a group of  Iranian citizens in the Republic Square in Yerevan, singing the song  "Karabakh" in the Azerbaijani language.

According to the NSS statement, G.B. made a public speech aimed at  inciting and/or promoting hatred and intolerance against a person or  group of persons, for political and other social reasons, using  information and communication technologies. Based on the factual data  obtained as a result of the comprehensive operational-search  activities carried out, a report was sent to the Investigative  Committee of the Republic of Armenia regarding the commission of a  crime under Article 329, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code of the  Republic of Armenia.
