ArmInfo. The RA government, despite assurances of fighting the oligarchy, wants to provide tax benefits to one of the major businessmen. At a meeting on January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of the country adopted a resolution on exempting the Multi Transport company, part of the Multi Group group of companies controlled by oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan, from import customs duties on technological equipment and its components.
As noted in the justification of the draft resolution, this refers to exempting the company from customs duties on the import of 32 minibuses to service routes in the Kotayk region of the republic.
The company was founded in 2021. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to invest 380.8 million drams in the purchase of minibuses. Currently, 409 jobs are open. As part of the investment program, it is planned to increase their number to 760 by 2027, while the average monthly salary will be 159 thousand drams.
